Happiness

I begin to realise that happiness is an extremely relative term.
Some people attain a certain level of happiness by owning a Ferrari others attain the same level of happiness just standing by the window watchin the rain.
So is the secret of a content life, the ability to bring down our happiness threshold?
Would one who does so be perceived as being unambitious?
Would a person who has discovered the secret to a content life be bothered about perceptions of others?
Is it the same with sadness....I think so.

evrythin is relative.. yea..
I think the relativity has more to do with the way one's mind is conditioned.. all these words take numerous meanings for numerous ppl, while they've also been statically defined in a few lines!
for me, all these seemingly simple words seem to be astoundingly complex.. maybe coz they're a lot more than just words..
huh.. way too complex for me.. so I avoid thinkin abt them :D

happiness is ephemeral... so is sadness.

Pal ~ The problem lies in one thinking that these are complex words they are not.

Seemantini ~ I disagree, pleasure is ephemeral, happiness is enduring.

yeah... its a relative term. what makes happy one may not prove to have the same impact on some one else.
